Nicholette A. Guy

There’s a lot I want to be.

A friend. A wife. A mother. A professional. Understood. Heard. Experienced. Happy. Whole.

There’s a lot that I already am.

A friend. A girlfriend. A sister. A daughter. Loved. Happy. Depressed. Sad. Excited. Eager.

When I decided to create a website, I wanted it to be everything. I wanted to show everything that I love all in one location. I wanted to show my art, other art, books I’ve read, science and nutrition, fitness, just about anything I know anything about. There is no underlying idea or goal behind this other than my own personal fixations. Being able to express myself through content that shows people who I am.

I wanted a place that I could say: “Hey, I’m an INTP. Let’s talk about that.”

I wanted a place that I could say: “Hey, I’ve read these books and I would highly recommend them for these reasons.”

I wanted a place that I could say: “Hey I drew this today. I’m not sure what it is or what it means, but it was fun.”

I wanted a place that I could say: “Did you know this about food?”

I wanted a place that I could say: “I’ve lived in a lot of places and it’s been crazy.”

Yet when it comes to it, I sit there and tumble through the ideas that run through my mind and come up short.

I’ve read what a website should be like. I’ve read how you should try to target an audience. To have something that people can use it for. But to be honest I don’t want to use it for anything other than my own personal way of communicating with the world outside my circle.

I want to share my personal experiences and insights with you.

I’ve also wanted a place where people share with me too.

So I guess my goal here is to show you that it’s okay to be vulnerable.

You are a beautiful person, inside and out.
